Why is Mexico the most strategic spot for the Aerospace and Automotive Industry for the next ten years?

An investment of about fifteen million dollars has been approved to build an aerospace park with its private airport in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

This park is located in the ninth kilometer on the Mazatlán-Culiacán highway. The building will take place in different stages with varying budgets. The idea is to produce drones for cargo purposes commissioned by Singular Aircraft.

The building site has an area of over two hundred hectares. It will have many amenities and facilities that will be useful for most multinational companies. The industries that will benefit from this aerospace park are the health industry, electronics, aerospace, and automotive industries.

This park is part of the commitments made during the T-MEC negotiations between Mexico, The United States, and Canada. This infrastructure project is a flagship for the development of Sinaloa as it will bring nine thousand jobs to the region.

The MZT Aerospace Park will take five years to build, and it will be an unprecedented logistics hub connecting Mazatlán, Durango, Monterrey, Dallas, Tulsa, Chicago, and Winnipeg. This hub is of great importance for the automotive industry concerning electric and gas-operated vehicles.

This project is vital for both Sinaloa and North America, as worldwide multinational companies from around the globe will have a logistics hub with enough capacity to meet their needs for the next decade at the very least.

There is no doubt that the future is upon us in the logistics field. Hopefully, this park will be fully operational in the next five years.
